Hello everyone! Recently, I want to install Ubuntu 20.04 on my X751N. But a problem appears: My hard disk is not detected in the boot options and in the installation options via the Linux installer. So I can’t go anywhere else than in a Live USB. This one is nevertheless well detected by my BIOS in the SATA peripherals, but it is not present, like the CD drive, in the boot options. However, I can boot on a USB key in no problem. My BIOS has been updated to version 313 Other disks have been tested (SSD among others) but they are not detected in the boot options either. I’m starting to run out of ideas. Is there a very specific manipulation to try in the BIOS? Secure boot and Fast boot have been disabled. Thank you!
Hi @sagaroth , What happens if you click on BIOS > Advanced Mode > Add new boot option? Can you enter your SSD name (as it appears in BIOS sata connections), press Save and exit and then see if it is appears in Boot options?
