Chosen Solution Hi, I have a Samsung TV UN40MU6300FXZA that stopped working. When I unplug the wire harness between the power supply and main board, the backlights turn on. So I thought it would be the main board, so I replaced it. The tv still did not work and I still have NO standby light. I get voltage at the power supply but thought maybe I am missing something so I replaced power supply too since it wasn’t expensive....
Chosen Solution I was checking some iPhone 5 screens that I had on a customers iPhone 5s that had a cracked screen. Found a good one. installed all the parts on the new screen. The backlight works and the phone turns on I know because it buzzes. Also if I call the # it rings. Also iTunes see’s the phone but I can’t set password. But now there is a black screen....
Chosen Solution I replaced the GPU (many thanks to the well done ifixit.com tutorials) and the Logic Board Battery after a very long inactivity period. I made a a clean OS X installation (El Capitan) and now both my iMac and the new GPU work well after the user login, anyway I cannot see any video signal before the user login screen. All the 4 diagnostic LED are working I checked, but I can’t get the HD selection (option command) at the machine startup - or maybe I can but I cannot see it....

Chosen Solution Hi. My phone dropped. iPhone 7+. It boot loops while on charge, and it can move to dfu mode still on charge. But when removed from charge, it doesn’t work in any way. Doesn’t boot without the charger, and no going to recovery mode/dfu mode without charger. What is the problem guys? And how would i fix it? I had to tilt the Macbook screen and adjust a VGA connector between Macbook and the external monitor to mirror the macbook screen to the external monitor. Finally, my external monitor went black. Next, try to turn the phone on by holding down the lock button on the side of the device. If this is not working, try following the battery replacement guide until you get to the step where you remove the battery. Once you have removed the battery, put it back into place and attempt to turn the phone on again....
Chosen Solution I recently moved my washer and in the process broke the dial that selects the wash cycle. The cycle is stuck on Bulky. I can live with just one cycle but this particular cycle does not allow me to move the spin speed beyond medium. Is there a way to reset the cycle to Normal (Default)? How easy is it to replace the dial? Christopher Belton , if it is just the dial that needs replaced and the stem that the dial was mounted on is still there, you can carefully turn that dial stem with a payer of pliers(do not damage)....

Chosen Solution Hi, I’ve had my Honeywell HO-5500RE fan for about 2 years and out of the blue when I plug it in it automatically switched on (it never use to, you had to press the on button before it actually turned on) and none of the buttons are working. Chosen Solution A1475 logic boards are quite expensive, while A1474 boards seem much more readily available. From my uneducated perspective, the major difference between the two is that the A1475 has a spot to hook up the LTE antennas, and I’m sure some circuitry to process it. Can I slap an A1474 board in there and just not hook up the LTE antennas, and use the unit as a Wifi only Ipad?...
Chosen Solution Title says it. My phone infinix hot s doesn’t charge unless its literally standing on the cable or I lift the Cable up. I guess the charging port moved up? @gasser45123 yes it does sound like a charging port issue. It is possible that the solder on the board has come loose. Use this video as well as this one to work on your phone. Once you get to the boards post some images so we can see what you see....

Chosen Solution I was assembling my project with a screwdriver bit with the new drill, I used the drill adapter, but it was soo strong, now the 2 bits, the 1/4 to 4mm and the square key is stuck inside the adapter, how I can separate them again? Chosen Solution I just installed all new aftermarket speakers in my Kia. After I finished testing them with the last door panel off, they all worked. After replacing the door panel that was off I checked again and none came on. The radio was on and functional but no sound at all. What might be the problem? Just a guess, but you may have bumped the wiring as you were placing the door pad....
Chosen Solution The phone suddenly began to come and go as standby if the power button was constantly pressed . In fact, it notes that the button sensitivity is greatly increased , but it is impossible to use it !!! And by the way you can not shut down because after a while it turn on alone !!!! Chosen Solution I recently did a battery replacement on my 6s with a ifixit kit, at first everything seemed fine upon reassembly and power on, but then I realised that my home button gave me no response, and upon startup/power on iphone came up with warning message saying “touch id not available”. Is someone able to help me with this? I did not mess with the area around the home button so not sure how this could have happened....
Chosen Solution Yes these three wires are the antenna coax lines. Two are for WiFI the third is the Bluetooth. Can you post a nice tight and in focused picture of the damaged cable and the connector if it’s loose. So we can see if it’s salvageable. Otherwise you have a bit of work to replace the cable. Tracing the line back to the antenna unit so we can ID which is needed as the length of the cables are different....
