Chosen Solution I have tried all the methods online, SMC reset, PRAM reset, type in password and hit return, and key press sequence to restart the computer (even turning on the brightness, yes!). I’ve also tried to connect it to a monitor and that doesn’t work either. One thing is to be noted, it would first turn on completely black, but then after a minute or so the light would be on, but it remains black (I hope that makes sense)....

Chosen Solution I just purchased a replacement home button from ifixit and it worked for about 10 clicks, but stopped working. I took it back apart and double-checked the install and everything was correct. turned it back on to test and same issue. Worked for a few clicks then stopped again. Now it will randomly work on and off, but only for a few clicks then back to non-functional. This was a new screen replacement also purchased from ifixit...

Chosen Solution I have a brand new Schneider refrigerator, delivered today. It has a internal water tank now filled with spa water, but no water comes out when I press the lever on the front door. Any ideas? @herewardwake I was curious as I haven’t come across a refrigerator with an internal water tank before. Mostly refrigerators with a water dispensing feature are connected to the household water supply and the water pressure causes the water to flow when the water solenoid valve in the refrigerator is operated by pressing the dispensing lever....

Chosen Solution Camera was dropped from about 2 ft. on the rim around the lens. Now it will not power on and move the lens. Does it not power on at all? Or does it try, and turn back off when it fails to initialize the lens? The impurities it the water causes corrosion and provides circuit paths for the electricity which were not in the camera’s operating design and could damage the components....

Chosen Solution My 42" Samsung TV is ageing but still produces a good picture. However it currently takes 5-7 minutes to warm up. During this time the power light flashes 5 times every 20 or so seconds. When it is about to come on there is a click, like maybe a contact is being closed. Moreover, every once in a while, the new picture appears severely pixilated and I need to turn it off for a few seconds and restart it....

There is the chance that you break something and then your screwed but if everything looks the same besides model number you can give it a shot if you want to take the risk....

Chosen Solution My Ds’s top screen wont come on, everynow and then the buttons, joystick, bumbers, and touchscreen will stop working and the screen will be stuck displaying what ever it got stuck on (stuff on the screen will still move around) the ds wont go into sleepmode. Also it wont turn on everyniw and then when I go to try the blue light turns on makes a “pop” kind of sound and the blue lights rurns off....

Chosen Solution I want to temporarily remove the sleep light/IR sensor from the front of my MacBook Pro 17-in Unibody (early 2011). On first inspection, though, it seems to be stuck onto the metal. Is the light/sensor removable? If so, how should it be don? Update (08/15/2018) Here’s a photo of the dent. Chosen Solution I have pictures on my phone put when trying to put on PC it says no pictures were found. Try copying and pasting the pictures into a different folder on your phone. For example, move them from your Downloads folder to your Pictures folder. Then try to access them from your PC again.

Chosen Solution So I know the question mark folder thing has been beaten to death, but I haven’t found a forum relating to my issue. It’s a Mid-2011 Macbook Air Core i5. One day it stopped booting up and gave me the blank white screen. After about 60 seconds, the blinking folder with a question mark comes on. Great, no problem. Why is this happening? @adeel123 going by your symptoms it sounds like a bad processor. Your processor is soldered to the board and cannot be replaced. Of course you want to check with a multimeter that your power supply is working perfectly....
