Chosen Solution Using a car charger, my 32 GB iPhone did not charge, but actually started to go down in battery life. Then I started to smell a burning electronic smell and when I looked down, the apple logo came up and the screen flickered and went black. I tried a regular iPod charger (plugged into the wall), plugged into my laptop - nothing. The Mac store said it was fried and no repair could remedy my situation....
Chosen Solution I replaced the original battery with one from iFixit a few months ago (around 10) and it was working perfectly until two days ago, the battery all of a sudden is not detected and the charger seems to be charging (led is orange) but without the charger laptop won’t start. From the battery section in the system preferences it shows that current battery charge is 0% and battery status in menubar is not shown....

Chosen Solution Instructions didn’t adequately identify the bar to lift on the tiny ZIF connector and I think I didn’t have it raised before removing the cable. I tried buying a new ribbon cable but I still have no keyboard or trackpad. The computer works with an external set, but I can’t reboot or wipe the disk. This was an expensive money-saving repair. Now I can’t even give the computer away!...

Chosen Solution Hi guys! I made the silly mistake of buying a broken N3ds XL on eBay thinking I could fix it. Here is what I’ve discovered: all the cables are good and correctly hooked up inside. Pushing the power button makes the blue light turn on and then off. I never get any boot, nothing shows not he screen, and there is no noise or popping from the speakers. I took it apart and checked all the cables, took out the micro SD card and put it back in, etc....
Chosen Solution i buy a battery set from ifixit. After changed my battery , my iphone 5s get blue screen death and restart and persentage of battery display don’t change anymore. You have mixed up the screws that go into the shield that covers screen connecrors .you have put a long screw were a shorter one was ment to go and it has damaged the motherboard.. I thought it would be an easy fix to solder a new earpiece speaker onto the flex cable until I saw that someone else already tried to do so. Since I don’t have a multimeter on hand I was wondering if I can take the earpiece flex cable with sensors from my own iPhone X and use it to test the other iPhone X, to see if it’s a board-level issue or a flex cable assembly issue....

It has a spitter web looking spot and the colored lines running vertically and horizontally all the way across the screen from there. @robertskelton21 going by your description alone, it sounds like a broken LCD panel. Take the car to a shop, have them lift the car, remove wheels, remove tires, and then put new ones on. That is where the orange flat ribbon cable that are bonded to the panel come loose and make no contact. you can try to apply some light pressure on the ribbon cable right where that line is....

I am able to activate it before without any issues. insert the SIM, you’re good to go (no TurboSIM). I also able to update to iOS 11.2.1 without any issues (OTA update) but, things happen after I restore the iPhone using iTunes (clearing things up)....
