The contact will be over two of the three prongs. Move it to the other two and start the computer. The computer will not start, but once the power has been sent to the motherboard, it has done what you need....

My oem screen goes dark when in landscape angle, but not portrait. Can anyone confirm or deny this? thank you! Polarized light is used with LCD displays for them to work....
Chosen Solution I had email (comcast) on my I phone. After an update, I could no longer get my email as the mail setting said I have to put a password in the mail setting, although the password was there and has been entered several times. I’ve tried to reactivate my mail on the phone with no luck. I’ve seen this happen a few times. Go to Settings > Mail > Accounts > comcast account and you should see a button that says “Re-enter your password”....

(to be used as Q7110) The last one is the one that supposed to be there ending in JT from the schematics....
Chosen Solution For a while my tablet screen has been displaying this and since I’m not exactly technologically advanced I’ve asked around and someone said it’s the digitizer but im not 100% sure if that’s what it is. It happened while plugged in watching YouTube. The screen is displaying large gray and black lines. Update (08/31/2016) This is what it looks like hi, your LCD/digitizer will need to be changed, There is a very slim chance that the lcd cable has come loose....

It’s a defect flex from your new display. I’ve had this happen several times (original samsung screens) so it’s deffinitely not an uncommon problem. Simply return it from the place you purchased it and ask for a new one....
Chosen Solution He was cleaning it with a wet wipe so moisture may have got in. Any ideas? Water damage on JoyCons aren’t worth fixing, it would outweight the price of buying a new one to repair water damage. Sorry :(

Chosen Solution I have a friends iMac, when it boots none of the startup key combos work. cmd+r, option, cmd+opt+p+r, shift……….none of the key combos work when I try them, I just boot into osx login screen normally. I tried resetting SMC….. can’t do anything about pram, because the key combo don’t work…keyboard work perfectly, it is an wired apple keyboard..don’t have a firmware password set….So anyone knows how to fix it?...
Chosen Solution Just replaced my battery with an IFIXIT battery. Initially, none of the 4 USB-C ports worked. Googled the issue - said to reset the SMC. Did that. Now, only 1 of 4 of the USB-C ports are working. Tried resetting again, no luck, still only 1 port is working. Any thoughts? Advice? Did you try reseating the port cables? I would focus on the side that both ports are not working....

Try the following as it seems to apply to most Sharp Aquos models; Unplug set, press and hold (on set) volume-down and channel-down and hold them while plugging in set. Hopefully it will come on with “k” on screen, or it will crash again if the backlight is bad....

Green light works. only no power at all. no fan spin. checked voltages its seems ok but only one chip is bugging and getting heated while mag-safe is connected. chip called u7201. Which power cable should I use? Also where should I get the rubber bumper? Any help is appreciated!! I agree with @mayer - I would wait until your warranty has expired. I also think you can get a better solution externally than adding in an internal 2....

Chosen Solution my kids over loaded the washer and the lock wouldnt unlock so we poped it open and now there is no power. none of the lights are lighting up they had power before we poped the lock Unplug the machine for five minutes to allow it to reset. Then see if you get any error codes when you plug it back in. Let us know what you get.

In doing so I got a little overzealous and ended up tearing the bottom ribbon for the screen. is there a way to repair this or do I have to replace the screen as well? You need to replace the screen. Ribbons can only be replaced using bonding machines. @schrdtny I am certain there are people that have the tools and the skill to solder flex cables....

Can I send my iphone to you, and fix it for me and then send it back?? What will the price be? Regards Martin Martin on the 6s 90% of the time the backlight anode Emi filter bead will be at fault. This is a basic repair and not chip level so I would not expect this to cost a lot....
