The remote no longer works with my Blu-Ray player. Can’t turn it on with remote. I can, however, turn it on manually… but then the remote still won’t work to allow me to move on-screen to select Episodes or scenes on the DVD....

I thought this was a software issue so I restored and did not restore as backup. Nothing. Restored once again and restored with backup. Nothing. If I swipe over to video, the video display is fine, but the button to switch between cameras has it do the rotate animation but it just continues to display the rear camera. Cranking is typically what people mean when the engine turns with the starter motor. Turning over is typically what they mean when the engine actually fires up. Because you (or your brother) replaced a freeze plug, I suspect there is a disconnected or damaged sensor....

Chosen Solution Hey all. I recently changed an iPhone 11 pro’s charger port & battery I got off of injuredgadgets.com. I’ve ordered many good working parts from this seller before. Upon the repair, the phone would boot but only display the battery at 1% & wouldn’t charge at all (via cable or wireless). The phone also randomly shuts off after maybe 3 minutes of being on everytime. I tried putting the original parts back in, but it still shows the exact same behavior....
Chosen Solution OK, so I replaced the screen and now the screen won’t turn on. When I connect the ipad to my computer I see that Itune it knowledge the iPad. Now, I did broke the lcd spacer(I think is what it calls) the clip that push down the screen LCD cable. Also, I lost one of the home button screw. So I cut a piece of the flat cable that I had from the old digitizer and I insert it on top of the connector to push the cable down as I saw that this work in other forum, but it does not....
Chosen Solution This may be a long one, so strap in. My 6s was water damaged about a week ago- all indicators have turned pink. I was listening to music, and had flashlight on so I’m fairly certain something was shorted when water came in. I had a waterproof case on that failed, so it wasn’t a complete flood, just enough to shut down the phone. Music turned off, lines appeared on the screen, then screen went dark and finally flashlight turned off....

Chosen Solution One of my two DC970 batteries are at the end of it’s life (6.9V/~1.01 A) from the original 18V/1.2Ah. My other battery isn’t much better (11.35V/~1.05A), so it’s time to get new batteries. The batteries are bad enough I went to use it and it was struggling with removing a screw. I am looking at either the DCA2203C 20V kit (~$100) or buying a set of knockoff NiMh batteries (much cheaper) since both of them are pretty much shot....
Chosen Solution When I turn the computer, I get a blinking ? in a folder icon Your Book cannot find a startup system. Either the system folder is corrupted or your hard drive has gone bad. Try starting up from your system installation disk. Insert disk and restart holding doen the “C” key. Go to the second screen pull down menu to Utilities -> Disk Utility and see if you can repair the hard drive....
Chosen Solution Battery holder is corroded can I get replacement mix some baking soda with water and using a q-tip dab it and rub off the corrosion. when you get it clean than apply some dielectric grease and it shouldn’t corrode again at least not for a very long time.

Chosen Solution I have attempted a replacement for the screen on an old iPad mini, now everything works it’s just the LCD only displays a blue screen at varying brightness instead of what it’s supposed to display. I would disconnect the LCD and make sure the connector is not damaged and clean it with a qtip and alcohol and a soft brush....
