Chosen Solution My phone charger tip broke off inside my phone when I unplugged my phone. We took it the next day to have it looked at. They weren’t so easy at jabbing their object down in the charging port to remove the piece. They claimed it wasn’t charging still and the charging port would need to be replaced. Sure, ok then lets do that! Several hours later when I finally was able to pickup the phone it was overheating....

Chosen Solution My magsafe charger has no green light when I plug it to my Macbook air. It basically maintains the charge at 1% whenever I turn it on, but it can’t charge beyond it. The battery status also says that the “battery is not charging”, but when I checked its condition (via Option+click), it says here “Condition: Normal”. Chosen Solution This sounds like my issue, fresh food 50degrees_freezer 30degrees. Constant running, some frost on evaporator partially at the top of the coils but not all the way. Fans are working, I believe defrost heater working have not tested thermostat on evaporator though. Have not tested compressor resistances or the relay either. R12 refrigerant in system as it is an old GE bottom freezer style. Compressor not overly warm to the touch and hi pressure line also not very hot say very warm low pressure line seems cool to the touch....

Chosen Solution Just replaced the fuel pump ,battery and emptied the gas tank put new gas but it still wont turn over , spark plugs are good as well as the coils and along with the spark plug wires& new relay . The fuses are good .has an after market alram system that no longer works with the clicker batteries were replaced .any one whos dealt with this kind of problem id appericate some help...

I know the display works being when its on, you can see an image on the screen but its very dark to see. I purchased a replacement inverter thinking that was the problem but still no backlight. My only issue is could it be that the replacement inverter I got is bad as well?...

Chosen Solution Well as far as I could check through online research both the 2017 and 2019 models have the same hardware: same CPU socket, same GPU (ok, 580 vs 580pro, minor change) and same PSU however the 2017 model would not work with the same i9 9900 CPUs available for the 2019 models and I want to know why. Could it be just a firmware restriction in the known ‘Apple way’ of planned obsolescence considering the hardware is the same therefore shouldn’t be any technical reason?...

Chosen Solution I was recently working on my macbook after replacing the ram. I accidentally shorted the battery during when I was unplugging the battery connector and the logic board smoked and now theres no light on the magsafe charger and will not turn on. Hey Karen I agree with @oldturkey03 pictures would help show what may be the cause. However, from your description of what happened it sounds to me that the MacBook’s battery shorted the module on the Logic Board that controls the power....

Chosen Solution a falty sd card riped pins out of my wii u is there any way i can replace it and where can i find the parts if i can replace it E-bay/amazon for the sd slot…but would be to hard to unsolder/solder for most people. Maybe a phoneshop that does repair could help you out? Or call nintendo see if they can help… But user damage costs a lot :(...

Chosen Solution Hi All, The above device wasn’t holding a charge, so I swapped out the battery, and it appeared to be fine for about a week. Next thing I know, the “power” and “battery” lights were both on, but VERY dim indeed. The device has now totally gone off and is unresponsive. Chosen Solution Can I replace a backlit keyboard into a MacBook without previous backlit keyboard? Is there any additional mods that have to be done? I believe this is all you need: MacBook Unibody (A1278) Upper Case (Backlit) You can replace the entire topcase… OR you can just replace the keyboard with a backlit keyboard from a 13" MacBook Pro. or the late 2008 aluminum MacBook unibody… Its an easy fix, all you need to do is use the topcase replacement instructions but take out the keyboard and replace it while you have it apart… Hope this helps!...

Power cord shows green then orange charging light standby button illuminates even made that powering up sound , but then nothing when I hit power… Leave it plugged in overnight until the orange mag-safe light turns to green. Would it start before you changed the battery? Why did you change the battery?

Chosen Solution I have a black screen after start up with the I fix it 2GB kit installed. I was very careful about static made sure to ground myself. When I put re install the 1 GB RAM originally installed (also an IFIXIT) (the data on the sticklers says exactly the same thing- 1GB DDR2 PC2-5300 667MHz except the PIN numbers. The original I took out says 204PIN and the ones I was sent say 200PIN....
