Chosen Solution I am using my MAC with an external monitor until I get my faulty screen cables replaced but the cpu is running at 70% and the machine is slow. I know that it is the temperature probes. How to I switch off the thermal sensors. Update (04/05/2019) Really nice of you to reply… thank you. I am fairly sure it is the display temperature sensor. Chosen Solution Just wondering if I can swap the earpiece Speaker from an iPhone 6 into an iPhone 6s? my 6s has somewhat distorted sound and I have a spare screen assembly from an iPhone 6 thank you!! Sadly it will not. They do look similar but it will not work.
Chosen Solution My screen is damaged but still turns on and has picture however at the top of the tv it’s black this happend when it fell and the metal fram is bent and also the screen has cracks, if it can be fixed what are the costs Hi @robf88 , If the screen has cracks in it, it cannot be repaired and needs to be replaced. Usually the cost of a replacement screen, if you can find one, is nearly as much as a new TV....
Chosen Solution So Idk if you can help but I’m putting on the “Front bumper” , “Both Fenders” and the hood on my 2008 Chevy Impala (police model:not sure if that matters) and while we were taking it apart I didn’t think to separate the bolts ,clips etc with there respective parts ..So now I have two cups full of random bolts,fasteners and I’m not sure where each goes if you could help me out that would be great( Edit:I can provide pictures of each set of bolts if need be)...
Chosen Solution I know that 3 beeps means a ram issue, but the computer was working fine and just shut off by itself and when I tried to turn it on again its giving the 3 beeps. The ram works fine on a different laptop and its been working fine in this one for over a year. I doubt the slot itself went bad because its doing the same thing regardless which slot the memory is in....

But, I recently found this M.2 to SATA adapter that can house 2 M.2 blade SSD’s: Dual-M-2-SATA-Adapter-RAID This got me thinking, would it be possible to install 4 blade SSD’s in two of these adapters if I were to replace my current HDD and the optical drive with the OWC Data Doubler? Sadly a day late and a dollar short ;-{ While this is a plausible solution for the primary drive it won’t work terribly well on the optical bay....

I have MBP 2016, recently there’s some problem: power on chime one time and fan spining around 20 sec fan stop booting and can see the logo into the main screen… 2~3 minutes later system halted and black out. The heat pipe and CPU area very hot… because of no fan spin. When I check the diagnose, mac said ADP000, no errors. What shall I do firstly. Chosen Solution My screen will only turn on when the screen isn’t fully closed like if I un screw and open the screen to where I can see inside the phone or don’t press it fully closed to where you can see a gap on one side. If I close the screen completely it shuts off and wont turn on. I checked all connections and they seem fine to me....

Chosen Solution Are the keycaps replaceable on this model without opening the laptop and if so, are they available through iFIXIT? They theoretically are but it is very tricky to remove them and a high chance of them breaking. iFixit does not stock them sadly. The key caps are in fact replaceable. The mechanism can be a bit delicate, but if you know where damage can occur it’s definitely avoidable. I can give further instructions if necessary, but didn’t want to clutter my response if you don’t end up needing to know....

Chosen Solution Hi all, I have a MBP 15" retina mid 2012 and I spilled some water on it. Everything works except for the backlight on the display. The display backlight briefly flashes on at startup then goes out. The screen itself is working, as when I shine a light on it I can see the desktop. When plugged into an external monitor, everything is functioning normally except the backlight. I’ve done some reading and realized that this could be a blown F9700 fuse....

Chosen Solution been fixing phone for quite a while and have of course replaced numerous batteries along the way. however recently within the last few months i have had several phones after replacing the batteries die and not turn back on. you can charge them all you want but the phone will not recognize its being plugged in by showing the empty battery symbol. however when you remove the battery and either put the battery in another device it will charge just fine, or if you plug another battery into the phone that has been pre charged it will turn on function and charge fine until it dies from 0% and the cycle continues....

When I connected the positive cable to my car battery there was a spark at the tractor.
