Chosen Solution I upgraded my iMac from old HD not working to iFixit crucial kit. I followed every little instruction, heat sensor, etc. My iMac had to be booted up in download recovery. From the internet it installed the original OSX it came with. It seems to boot up just fine like a new computer. I had to enter in my Apple ID and set it up as new. I do not have any time machine backups… so I was just going to reinstall everything....

My had water damage but after drying out on airing cupboard for 2 days I switched on and all is working fine BUT it wont allow me to insert the charging plug into the phone anymore, only halfway and seems like resistance stopping inserting plug all the way. The phone is still under warranty but because water damage may not repair free… As I said everything else on the phone is working but my charge is now on 16% and I cannot charge…....
Chosen Solution agitator slipping when washing. sometimes the close are still wet after the spin cycle pbowden sounds like a bad clutch. You need to give us your model number so we can identify which model you have. Take a look at this guide. Possibly different model but same idea. Let us know what you find. Chosen Solution I was look thought the menu and I seen some thing that just said off I pressed it not meaning to do so I was just going to put my name in So how do I get the back light back on so I can see my music John Lang if you strictly turned it off and if there is no damage to it, you should be able to turn it back on by going to Choose Settings > General > Backlight If you cannot see if, use a darkened room and a shine a flashlight in an angle against the display, that way you can see the menu....
Chosen Solution When I tried to connect the IFixit battery connector into my phone, it wouldn’t connect and the connector Is screwed up now Did you buy the right battery? If it does sure I’m gonna buy it. If not, I think ifixit is a very reliable site. Chosen Solution After a battery repair from authorised service centre black edges have started to appear whereas it wasn’t visble before. They are saying that it is a feature. Can anybody clarify that I can’t confirm or deny the dark edges as a feature, but you might try a force reboot or restart and see if it goes away. I’d also make sure the screen is fully back into place like before the repair (with respect to the case/rest of the phone), ie no excessive gaps or strange bulges....
