Chosen Solution Is this computer WiFi compatible Hi @misslovely You would either need to install a PCI WLAN card (supplier example only) on the motherboard ( there are other make and model cards and suppliers, as long as it is a PCI WLAN card) or get a USB WiFi adapter (supplier example only) and plug that into a spare USB port in the PC. Note: Do not get a PCIe WLAN card as these will not work in your computer....

Chosen Solution Will not power on, does it need reset Hi @pipster67 , Do you mean that it shows that there is no power connected to the machine or that it won’t start? If there is no indication of power to the machine, have you checked that the wall power outlet is working OK? If it is then looking at the parts available for the machine then either the mains inteference filter or perhaps the On/Off switch may be the problem....

Chosen Solution I have just replaced the screen on my iPhone ex after dropping it and now none of the cameras will work and nor will the face ID I have been watching heaps of videos on how to replace the screen and I have done exactly that but my cameras have gone black and face ID will not work Might just need to disconnect the camera connectors and reconnect them....

Chosen Solution After replacing a cracked screen, the ambient light sensor won’t function. The brightness in the display will not adjust even if I go from a dark room to outside and sunny. Tried putting a different sensor and front camera assembly from another iPhone 7 in just to check if it was responsive but no luck. Checked both of the sensor and front camera assembly on the other device and both are functioning on that phone....

Chosen Solution This morning whilst on my phone the screen faded into green with vertical lines and turned off. Now it won’t turn on and the apple logo is stuck on in a cycle that starts normal and fades to green and shuts off and the cycle continues. If I manually turn it off by holding the power and home button it will completely turn off only if it’s not plugged in....

Chosen Solution I’m doing a project soon of swapping my matte black housing to a red one and I’ve been learning how to do it and noticed that in all of the videos that a small metal retaining clip has to be removed before the home and volume buttons can be taken out. (Step 87 and 88 on iFixit’s rear case replacement guide). Is this clip needed? As everyone that i’ve seen do this procedure has bent the clips and i’m not sure how easily they would fit back in?...

Chosen Solution Screen is shattered but still comes on and sound is fine. Marcus Johnson, those screens are almost impossible to get new. If you do find them, it’ll cost more than a new TV. I’d suggest to hunt for a broken TV (other than the screen) and then harvest the screen from that.

Chosen Solution I just painstakingly replaced my battery in my iPod classic 160gb. It works now but seems to have some charging issues, not sure what that’s related to. It charges but when I disconnect after 4 hours charging, still shows about 35% charged, no more. Is there something I did wrong in the replacement or in restarting it? Looking to solder it back on to the mother board but am concerned about the pads underneath not being there or able to supply a connection.
