Chosen Solution A dropped iPad 2 has been brought to me by a client. LCD screen is black but backlight turns on. I did some research and it seems there are two reasons this is happening: 1. The LCD is bad, or 2. The logic board has a broken circuit or jumper that needs to be bridged/resoldered. I really don’t want to have to open it unless I know for sure what I need to fix....

Please tell me how to bypass the enterprise enrollment. Can the repair centre tell if your phone had gotten wet ? And if so how and does the volume of water matter ? There are ways to determine if a phone has water damage....

They found that it had some old water damage and told me they couldn’t safely replace the battery and weren’t allowed to do so. Wanted me to buy a new 6 Plus. Chosen Solution Hi all, working on iPhone 6 which arrived dead. Tried it on iTunes when I first got it, wouldn’t connect in normal mode but recognized in DFU mode but stopped when the process got to ‘waiting for iPhone’ point. Some weird voltage behaviour as well, so changed Tristar and phone now boots up fine, only to find passcode on it which the seller doesn’t know(!). Not recognized by iTunes but I thought no problem; I’ll do a full restore in DFU mode to restore the thing completely, but whatever I try I can’t get DFU mode to start....
Chosen Solution Freezer door won’t open. Repair guy said to defrost it. He thinks it’s frozen shut. I found the code needed and put it into (L) defrost mode. It’s been in that mode for 24 hours…water is coming out. ..door still won’t open. How long can this take AND is this going to damage anything because it’s constantly running in this mode? Thanks ahead of time I think you are going to loss everything in it anyway so I would just unplug it and let it defrost....

It appears your display has failed. Chosen Solution Attempting to remove core unit (step #7) in my Samsung Galaxy Watch to replace the battery. The steps online seem to suggest that the core should just lift out. I have double checked the steps, and have done everything listed. The core will not budge. It is almost as though it is glued. I’m worried to force it too hard for fear that I will permanently damage it. Has anyone else experienced this, and does anyone have suggestions for getting past this step....

Sometimes the cooling fan blade comes loose and the blender will overheat and shut down (and might display “overload” on the screen)....
Chosen Solution Hi, I recently noticed that my screen ( 17” anti-glare) is displaying a blue tint and some weird pixelated artifacts on my UI (I’m is running High sierra). I tried switching from Discrete Graphics (Nvidia GeForce GT 330m 512MB) to Integrated Graphics. I did manage to reduce the amount of artifacts letting the computer go to sleep and waking it. What could be causing this issue? To validate things you really need to plug in an external monitor to see if the issue is present on it....
