Chosen Solution Hi there! I have two a1989 MacBook Pros, one of which has an issue in the logic board and does not transmit video to the internal display. I wanted to swap out the boards in these two machines, as the functional one has an US layout topcase (dinged in places), while the one with no video has PT layout and in much better condition. I’ve been reading that the T2 chip may brick the MacBook Pro, and wanted to confirm prior to dismantling the Macs… they are both fully original and with no aftermarket parts, so will it work?...
Chosen Solution I replaced the HDD with an SSD (formatted) reassembled everything in its bare state, it turned on and chimed. I fully reassembled it, fans ramped up but nothing on the screen. Checked all connections. Reseated GPU and CPU. Reset SMC. No beeps. Nothing. If you’re curious, there were 2 lights on, one indicating that power was connecting, the other indicating it was powered on. Please help! You didn’t re-assemble it correctly....
Chosen Solution Came across an original Gameboy DMG in not so good condition. Managed to get it working but outside the electronic issues, it looks like the previous owner tried to glue the top screen cover and dripped whatever glue they decided to use on the corner of the LCD screen. I tried to remove it with some mild products like 99% Isopropyl Alcohol, Goo Gone but no luck. I know Acetone would probably do it, but it will properly also damage the area of the LCD....
Chosen Solution At startup, my Samsung plasma TV, model #PN58A550S (about 10+ years old) keeps cycling on and off with bad screens for about 10 - 15 cycles until it comes up with a good picture. Then it is fine until I shut it off again. @squeemey this could be an issue with your main board as well as your power supply. Chosen Solution I had replaced the entire front camera assembly recently with a cheap part. I don’t know if that was the reason, but the auto brightness is no more working. The proximity sensor too wasn’t working, but after pulling them out and fitting them back, I got this one working, but the auto brightness is not there to be seen as well as the setting is missing under Display & Text, though a search can still find it....
Chosen Solution Hi, I had to replace the power and sensor cable. By doing that I killed the display cable so I had to replace it as well. After replacing the two things I realized that the rear camera is not working anymore. If checked the contacts and the gold bracket, but all seems to be in well condition. I also couldn’t find a broken camera cable. Tried hard-reset. All other hardware operations are working except rear camera and led light....

The lest headlamps,leds, and high beams are out, along with the taillight. The power locks are not working at all either and when I use the key to open the door, the dome lights don’t work either. Chosen Solution I Put my phone on my nightstand and went to sleep, then i woke up and wanted to check the clock, and it won’t open, unlock, i tried that “Higher soung, lower sound, home and start”, doesn’t work, please help me! take the battery out and hold power button down or 5 mins. 5 mins may seem alot but try this as it sometime has been known to work unless you have a crack in the screen then you may need a new one if it is like the S3 screen....

Chosen Solution Okay to make it quick and simple I am rebuilding my Turbo for my 2003 Ford F350 6.0 liter. Doing the CCV mod as well. My question is with all the oil that is coming out of my tailpipe along with all the white smoke billowing out, while the turbos off can I get my power washer and power wash my entire exhaust pipe? I was thinking I could wash starting from where it connects to the turbo and flush all that all residue out the entire exhaust pipe out the tailpipe… then letting it air-dry for a day and then reconnect the turbo… could this by any chance damage anything or is it a bad idea or good idea?...
