Chosen Solution A friend of mine gave me a gl552vw that she wasn’t using after my lenovo died. I disassembled it to clean it properly and to remove all the little inhabitants and apply new thermal paste. After reassembling it, all I get is a black screen. I was careful not to damage anything but the lid sensor broke off the board anyway. Do you guys think I might have damaged the lcd cable during reassembly or could the little inhabitants have done something inside it edit: new issue discovered that i thought was normal....

Chosen Solution Trackpad still works, can click in other areas but the bottom right hand corner of the trackpad is always below the lip of the case. Gestures also work, so I don’t believe the glass is broken. Any ideas? It’s driving me nuts. I’ve tried cleaning around the corner with a small nylon brush, no luck. You might try some computer duster, one that includes a solvent. If that doesn’t work you will have to open the case and see if anything is jamming it from the inside....

Chosen Solution I have a Breville Smart Oven (BOV845) and I have it on the bake setting. On this setting, the timer will not go past 9 minutes so I’m constantly having to add 9 minutes to cook the full cycle for whatever I’m making. As you can imagine, this is an enormous pain. Breville support says that the warranty has lapsed and they cannot troubleshoot this problem over the phone....

Chosen Solution When I press the power button on my machine, the chargingLED turns on and stays solid, but when I press the power button, the blue led turns on then straight off again. Chosen Solution I decided to change the thermal paste on my personal console, have owned it for years, but after I finished and put everything back together I get the blinking overheat light, I used kryonaught, and have done this for many other ps3’s, yet mine is not having any of it, any advice I don’t know this device, but maybe you forgot to re-attach a temperature sensor cable?

Chosen Solution Dear community, while replacing the Airport/Bluetooth card, I broke the airport cable. The little connector piece is still connected to the logic board and I cannot take it off. Is there any solution? Thank you! Update (11/17/2022) I attached a photo of the cable. It is very easy to get out, just open the back of the mac. It’s the little connector piece that is normally on the cable....

Chosen Solution As stated above, it’s getting this error every time you try activating it, either via local or iTunes activation. Various software resets etc have all been tried. CDMA based unit. Some techs suggested the SIM slot could be damaged. I’m looking for advice what the actual issue is called in the repair world, and if anybody knows a good tech to help with it locally in South Bay Area / San Jose, CA, or via mail order since it’s somewhat more involved than a typical phone repair would be....

Chosen Solution My phone fell on the floor and after the fall the glass on the back was shattered, but the display didn’t show any visible damage. The phone still worked, though. After a short time I noticed that the lower part of the touch display was “deaf”, no longer responding to touch. Further later, areas of the lower display stopped working and remained black. I shut down the phone and started it again the next day and since then the display is completely black and also the backlighting of the buttons doesn’t work anymore....
