Chosen Solution I just took apart everything in my Late 2015 27" iMac in order to install a bigger PCIe SSD. I accidentally broke off the socket that secures the Airport Board onto the Logic Board. See pictures: https://imgur.com/a/gwVgHol . It doesn’t look like the Airport Board was damaged, or any of the metal on the Logic Board, but the plastic broke off from the Logic Board and the socket. It all still fits together, so I tried putting it back together, and my Wi-Fi is not working....

Chosen Solution Hi, I disassembled my dryer to clean it first time in three years and found out that one of cables is not connected and just lies there. Question is if someone know what for that cable is and what will happen if I will connect it… Update (09/22/2021) Actually I found some scheme and it looks like that it is an actuator of drain set which was not connected at factory....

Chosen Solution I took this DMC-FX10 camera out of a drawer that was collecting dust and I wondered if the thing still worked. I charged its battery and it turned on but the lens was stuck. I took it apart and fiddled around with the lens and managed to fix the issue. I then forgot to put a screw in so I disassembled it again and screwed it in. This time it didn’t turn on, it randomly died....

Chosen Solution camera will not stay on.The lens comes out and then goes back in.Have put new batteries but still does this Why? @midnight1 that is usually caused by the lens not being able to fully extend. Check on here for some ideas. Let us know what you find. Are there some firmware upgrade. Please.

Chosen Solution I recently dropped my iPhone and the back cracked forming a little rectangle around my back camera unit. My back-facing camera doesn’t work when using the camera app. However, when I use the camera via the Instagram app it works but it is zoomed in. There are two camera sensors in the rear camera assembly. Do into the camera app and switch between modes while holding your finger over one or the other then try the same in instagram....

Chosen Solution I have a nokia lumia 535 Rm-1090 but I dropped it and i removed the display, when I went online to find a new screen, I found out that there are 2 versions of the display, 2S and 2C, but because I removed the display and it’s connectors, I don’t know if it was a 2C or 2S. @stagnantsugar23 the answer by @jayeff on here How to identify my touch screen glass version?...

Chosen Solution I have two 55” Samsung TV’s. One is 4K (cracked screen) and the other is 1080P. Can I use the 1080P screen as a replacement for the 4K screen? legacy184 to start. you will need the datasheet for both panels. Then compare the connections to the LCD screen and the compatibility of those. The labels on the back of the screen will tell you who made them and what exact model those are....

Chosen Solution i have a kindle 7th generation, its battery model number is MC-354775-05, i am unable to find this model online for replacement. Can i replace it with the battery of 1st generation whose model number is MC-354775-03. I thought so. I tried the other way around. They are the same EXCEPT. The -03 has 4 leads and the -05 has 3. Slightly different placements, you can’t do it.

Chosen Solution I can’t swipe to get around the kindle. I tried using a pointer and that didn’t work either. I’.ve charged it, held down start button and repeated, Still can’t swipe. Any suggestions? Chosen Solution I need to replace the LCD Screen and Touch Scree w/Digitizer but I do nt see the repair/breakdown manual on here for my phone (Huawei Ascend Mate 2 (MT2L03) Probably because no one has ever done this. Check youtube on how to do it. If you find nothing, make a guide so you can help others but if there isnt a guide here, then there isnt until someone makes it which could be a long time....

Chosen Solution On my Nintendo 3ds Xl, after playing around 5 minutes of a game, the console goes to the home screen with this message “An error has occurred, forcing the software to close” and I lose my progress. Usually happens when a pokemon evolves or in trades in pokemon Y or pokemon omega ruby. I’ve already tried to resetting the console and replacing the sd card, the games I’m having trouble are physical copies, but I tested them on another device and they worked fine....

Chosen Solution I have a little piece of lint in my lens. It shows up when I take a picture. How do I get that piece of lint out of the lens. It is not on the lens but inside. There are repair manuals on how to replace the lens. It would be the start of what you would need to do to disassemble the lens to get it out. Taking apart the lens module could introduce more into the lens, if it’s not done in a very clean environment....

Chosen Solution The ADF(automatic document feeder) will not pick up paper, either a single sheet or multiple sheets. HP and my extended warranty says it can’t be fixed, printer is only a bit over one year old. Anyone know if a ADF unit is available? Maybe I will dismount the complete unit to replace this (cheap?) cable up to ADF unit. Could be the problem as my ADF does nothing than saying - no document....

Chosen Solution Hello I have asus gl553v strix which was working fine a week ago now it will not turn on at all I’ve tried removing the battery and only using the power cord doesn’t work also tried different batteries and power cords but nothing works tried doing a power drain didn’t work either this is exactly what’s happening with my laptop if I plug the power cable in it shows the power indicator light but once I push the power button all the lights shut off it’s the same if I have the battery plugged in I also tried replacing the power jack inside the laptop that hasn’t fixed it either what else can I tackle to try to fix it I also did a reseat on the ram didn’t work either...

Chosen Solution Hi, i have a Linsar 50” Tv and usually when watching netflix or play games off my playstation, the feed will randomly cut out but sound will continue to come out the tv. However the tv’s backlight remains on and this can only be fixed by turning the tv off and back on. Any Ideas? Chosen Solution I have a samsung 32" lcd tv model number LN32D450G1D. On day the backlight just stopped working everything else still works and can see the image on my screen with a flashlight. I bought a backlight inverter and switched it out with no fix. What else could be the problem? Also when I turn the tv on the power button blinks 5 times. I checked all the capacitors and none looked damaged or bulged also all the wiring looks good....

Chosen Solution We changed the battery in my 5C with a battery from Ifixit but now the home button doesn’t work. I can swipe right and some of my old apps come up to access like texts thankfully but the only button that works is the top on off button. That’s the only way to clear the screen. I can receive phone calls but can’t make them because I can’t get to that area of my phone....
