I am having issues of " Open Tray Error" for the last couple of day and no disc is working. I have tried to fix this with few tips I found on youtube but the issue still prevails. I seriously dont want my kids Xbox to physically serviced at the shop as they dont check it in front of you and you might get cheated somehow. Anyway, if anyone know a easier way to fix the " Open Tray" problem at home, please share.
Turn on the console again, either by using the controller or the POWER button (NOT the EJECT button) and WAIT for the initial XBOX setup. DO NOT Rush to put the game disc in. This is critical. This fixes the OPEN TRAY error most of the time on a XBOX 360.
Hi, Have you ever been experienced with opening up a Xbox 360? If so, disassemble the DVD drive, grab a q-tip with some rubbing alcohol on it, clean the laser (The thing that reads the discs) and reassemble and check to see if it works! Best of luck
