Chosen Solution

I dropped my iPhone in the pool, got water damage, so I opened it up and put it in rice. When I take it out, I notice a little piece in the rice which turned out to be the upper light antenna interconnection flex (here’s a picture http://www.unionrepair.com/iphone-6-uppe…) Now I have no idea for the life of me where it goes, and I need to find out urgently because I cannot get service on my phone. If anyone knows where it goes then please let me know, or at least if someone’s up to it open up your own iPhone 6 and try to find where it goes. Best regards, Klaidi EDIT I found the location where it goes, I screwed it in, restarted my phone, reset network settings, but it still says “Searching…”. Any ideas what I can do to resolve this?

Hi @Klaidi, I got the same problem recently (location of the part). You probably already solved your problems years ago, but in case somebody has the same issue: I saw this Youtube-video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmJSWrVu… , which breaks down an iPhone 6 completely. Please, pay close attention at minute 8:11-8:14. The upper light antenna interconnection flex goes next to the camera. Hope this helps. Kind regards, Marizon
