Chosen Solution
So, few days ago, I was sitting in a hot thub and I forgot to take my phone off my pocket. I think it was in the water for at least 20 seconds, and unfortunately I was too panic and tried to turn my phone on, at first, it’s just show an error screen, like some error list or so, after then, I tried to turn it on again, it only gave me a lit-black screen with shades of water behind the screen, and it’s unresponsive. After I went home, I took everything apart, and I gave my phone some alcohol bathe, and put the battery under the sun, and then whenever I charged it, it only shows lit-black screen, but this time, there was no shade of water, and it shows some respond to charger - as it’s vibrating-, and the notification light also turned on as it’s charged, but then it’s buzzing again and dead, it keeps happening everytime I plug it into the charger. My only problem is, it has 4000+ pictures that I haven’t backed up yet from my travel around the world and I’m just so sad about it. Is there any way that I can fix my phone or atleast save the datas? My phone is Xiaomi Redmi 3s fyi. I’ll appreciate your helps! Thank you so much
Muhammad Rizqi thank you for cleaning it properly with alcohol. At least you did not use Rice. As we all know on here, rice does not work. You did not tell us if you removed all EMI shields from your circuit board to clean under those as well. If you have done that you must replace the battery. It is not enough to dry it. Lithium as well as the circuitry inside the battery does not tolerate water. Replace your battery and then try again.
just put in rice for 3-6 hr and then get a paper towel and dry it
