If i wiggle the USB cable in my phone connector, I might be able to charge my phone if i don’t move the phone or cable. What can be done to address that problem?
pgressier, the first thing that I would try, is to get an new cable. It is possible that the cable is at fault. If that does not work, you will have to replace the micro USB port on your logic board.
Try a USB memory stick in your USB port. If it works fine, then the socket is not the problem. Before replacing the cable try it in another computer or a USB generic AC power unit for cameras.
Try and find a charging mat for 20 dollars on ebay.
