Hello, I have a still perfect working NOKIA 6288 mobile phone. Phone provider tells me I need a new phone! Possible to change my “old” Nokia from 2GB to a 3GB one (whatever that means), so I can keep this ‘phone. Lis K.R.
@steinhoehlen, Lis K.R., I would need more info. as to why your provider is telling you this? Maybe just to sell you a new phone! If you are not experiencing any problems with your present phone and like it, I would just keep using it. Do not let in to pressured sales. Good luck. no they are saying that they are dropping 2G phone service like edge if you know that term regarding data speed. You won’t be able to upgrade that phone modem to a 3g version. 2GB and 3GB refers to the memory size, just wanted to make you aware of that difference. GB=gigabyte nothing to do with modem speed. kind regards
