Hi, I have an iPhone 5S with a broken screen. I purchased the tools to repair it and my engineer friend told me he could fix it because he’s fixed tons before. He gave it back to me telling me it won’t work. I brought it to the repair store and they told me whoever was fixing my phone lost few of the parts and broke few parts and won’t be able to fix it anymore unless I bring it to iPhone specialist with parts. So is there any way my iPhone 5S can fixed? She said the part that is broken is a censor that detects the system and displays on the screen. I only need it to get the pictures I have on that phone. Thank you!
Hi Have you tried plugging your phone in to a computer previously used with it? See if the phone connects with iTunes then you know that the phone is not completely dead. Then try to retrieve your photos that way. As with your phone being broken I’m not really sure it sounds like a proble with the logicboad try plugging in a replacement screen (if you have one) see if you get a picture.Other then that I will try to get a second opinion on the board at another repair shop.
