I googled if I can replace a battery with a cracked screen and everywhere said it needs to be replaced first then the battery can be replaced. Is this true?
As long as time is taken and work carefully then yes it can be done. I’ve replaced loads of batteries on phones with cracked screens. Just go easy.
Hi @lacey6816 You have to remove the screen first to be able to access the battery so that it can be replaced. Here’s the ifixit iPhone 8 Plus Battery Replacement guide that shows the procedure.
