Chosen Solution

So I had a mishap with my iPhone 6 and the frame was bent out of shape. I’ve put the mainboard in to another original housing with original internals. But now when I try to make a call neither myself or the other person can hear each other. Same deal when I answer a call. I also noticed that the on screen speaker phone button is greyed out too! I’ve also noticed that Siri no longer works (goes to Siri screen but doesn’t respond) and Voice Control doesn’t activate when the home button is held down so I’m guessing this is all somehow related. It works fine as an iPod though! Ideally would like a solution for the calling part. Thanks in advance!

Try doing this open the camera app and go to record video record yourself talking with the rear camera talk and tell me if you can hear yourself when you press play. Now record yourself talking using the front face camera and tell me if you can hear yourself. Now Open the voice memos app and record yourself talking and tell me if you hear yourself. Here’s the solution to the answers above Rear Cam -Replace Power Button Assembly Front Cam- Replace Sensor Flex Recording Voice Memo - Replace Charging Port Assembly If siri can’t hear you there’s a problem with the Front Cam Sensor Flex I seen a lot of these issues and some are that one of the 3 microphones are block by dust/dirt and sometimes when you replace the whole back frame the grills will need to be replaced.

Did you ever get this problem fixed? I am having the exact same issue with my iPhone 7+!
