Hello, My MacBook Pro 2019 with touchbar (model A2159) is damaged by Vanilla liquid! I leaved my device 72 hours in the tent position and then in open-book V-like position under sunlight for 45 minutes for 2 days. Now my laptop can be turn on. All the keys, touchbar, and trackpad work; however, when I touch any keys except power key, my laptop turns on! Apple store told me that your device is highly damaged and you need to change motherboard, hard disk and … so it is better to buy a new one Can anybody help me where/how to repair it? I live in Waterloo, On, Canada.
You’ll need to decide what needs replacing after first taking your system apart. It’s a massive job are you up to it? You might only need an uppercase assembly: 15” MacBook Pro Upper Case - Sliver, Apple P/N 661-1316415” MacBook Pro Upper Case - Space Grey, Apple 661-13163 These are new parts, you maybe able to get a recycled part which would be cheaper.
