Hello recently my sister dropped my Galaxy S6 Edge Plus from a high place both back and front is shattered glass the glass toke all the impact now it doesnt turn on but gets hot when charging is the one still good or throw it away Update (07/18/2016) what happens if i send a damage phone under warranty to samsung would they fix it or charge me the damage fee and return. why do i have warrenty if is not cover Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge
Warranty covers manufacturer defects but not physical damage. If they do provide the option to change the screen they will charge you probably double the price of the screen. Probably worth it in my opinion if it retains warranty / I’d say they professionally do it of course.
Hi friend,this is really a problem. For back battery cover,it is easy to replace,just need a new cover. But for lcd screen,it is not sure whether the mainboard is working. So I suggest you had better go to repair shop to test lcd screen,mainboard,flex cable,etc. After that,you can make a decision about it.
