i have a kindle 7th generation, its battery model number is MC-354775-05, i am unable to find this model online for replacement. Can i replace it with the battery of 1st generation whose model number is MC-354775-03.

I thought so. I tried the other way around. They are the same EXCEPT. The -03 has 4 leads and the -05 has 3. Slightly different placements, you can’t do it.
