I have a 2015 MacBook Pro. My PC guy told me to buy a Samsung 2TB 860QV0. Now he says he can not install it internally and I have to use it as an External Hard drive . I have 6 other External HD’s so I don’t need another one. Can it be installed or not. Thank you
Sorry your PC guy aimed you to the wrong SSD!! This model uses a PCIe/NVMe interface not a SATA interface. A very different drive. There are 2 TB drives which will work in your system if you really need that much storage. But they are expensive! How about telling us what your goals are here maybe we can find a cheaper solution for you (internally)
