I got my second hand iPod 5th gen with 60gb, and the headphone jack is broken (when I plug headphones in, only one side plays music). I want to replace it but I only found a 30gb one available where I live. Will something bad happen if I replace the 60gb headphone jack with a 30gb one?
timuriu it’ll be to short. The 30GB flex cable is shorter since the battery is thinner. It won’t readily fit. With the exception of the length its identical and it would work without issues.
