Can I upgrade this laptop with NVMe storage device? I didn’t see any info on this section about this I want to upgrade to a Crucial P5 1TB PCIe M.2 2280SS SSD

Hi, Short answer is No. If you have a HP Envy x360 15m-bq021dx you cannot install a PCIe M.2 SSD. According to p.34 of the maintenance and service guide, taken from this webpage, M.2 and NVMe SSD are For use only on computer models with model numbers 15m-bq1xx and 15-bq1xx: To upgrade to a SSD you have to replace the existing sata HDD with a sata SSD

I recently upgraded my HP Pavillion x360 15- cr0xxx from 500 mb mechanical HD to a Crucial P5 PCIe M.2 2280SS 1TB. I had to disable and remove the Intel optane memory first. After cloning the drive with Acronis True Image, took about an hour. HP x360 booted to windows in about 20 sec with Crucial P5.
