I have a dell xps 15 9560 with core i5-7300hq, is it possible to upgrade to i7-7700hq? And will it be difficult to upgrade? Thanks.
harryt processor is soldered to the board so you cannot upgrade it.
It is possible, but you need reballing equipment and a precise knack for soldering
What about swapping the motherboard. If you got a motherboard that had the i7-7700HQ processor, would it fit/be compatible with one that originally had the i5?
