I’d be interested as to if there is a card compatible with my mid2012 non-retina 15 inch MBP. I’m getting conflicting answers here and there so is there? and if so whats a good part number?

The newer 8.2.11ac boards have an edge connector
Which is why there is no means to upgrade the AirPort board and the dimensions are very different too. Even if you tried to replace the carrier and the cable it won’t fit the hollow (and the line assignments are also different)
