Hello, Is there a way to replace the SSD circuit of an iMac late 2012 with a faster one? I have looked for adapters for pin 7 + 17, but would it work if I replace the circuit with a 1Tb CORSAIR M.2 circuit plus the adapter? Alan

Sadly, the logic is not replaceable with anything else. You are stuck with the mSATA blade interface this system offers. Both your SATA and mSATA connections are SATA III (6.0 Gb/s). You do have a faster Thunderbolt port available using a RAID’ed drive config you can get much faster storage. TB-1 - Single channel 10 Gbit/s TB-2 - Concurrent dual channel 20 Gbit/s
