I have Toshiba satellite Core i5 with 6GB ram….. can I upgrade from 6GB to 14GB….by adding 8GB ram?
It depends on your specific laptop, and also what operating system is installed. If you have a 32-bit version of Windows, then you can’t go over 4GB; but if you have a 64-bit version of Windows, you can go a lot higher than that, if your laptop will allow for it. But as Jayeff said, we need to know the model number of the laptop.
