I had a curious thought and wanted to hear thoughts from y’all regarding it. Is it possible to move a iPad mini 2 wifi model logic board into the body of an iPad mini 2 LTE model that’s missing one? Obviously the LTE capabilities will not work, I got curious cause I have a wifi only iPad mini 2 with a bent body and shattered digitizer and was wondering if I can move it into the LTE mini 2 I have who’s logic board is fried! Thoughts anyone?
You can sure try, but I don’t think it will work. Apple has a tendency to make parts that work on only one particular device and cannot be used on a different model of device. I am making an educated guess here so I may be proved wrong.
