Chosen Solution
I’m thinking about making an upgrade to my Macbook, by replacing the logic board for another of the same year and model, but with a discrete GPU. I imagine that i’ll have to replace the heat pipe aswell. Is there any other thing that I must take in account or is it impossible? Thanks Gil
There shouldn’t be any issue switching logic board. As long as it is the same year and size you will be fine. You will want to get one with a heat sink or purchase it separately.
