I have a Sony 70-200 FE 4 that has a very worn lens ring. Can I replace the E mount ring on a Sony Lens? It appears that the electronic contacts aren’t a part of the ring itself so I’ve got hope this is a user replaceable option.
It looks like the lens mount ring comes as part of a lens mount assembly - https://sony.encompass.com/item/10228293… It looks like each lens in the Sony FE mount family has a different lens mount assembly. I’m going to order this part and do it myself.
