Hello! I had a serious problem with my Iphone 5s with corrosion under my CPU, and i tried reballing solution. But when i tryed heating up the cpu, with my hot air gun, but this instrument gets to high temperatures very hard, so while increasing temperature i got my cuurer blade under the frirst layer of cpu, and smacked the corner of it. Could i replace the RAM or whats on the first layer? And what could be another cause of phone booting loop. Thanks for help. Have a great day!
Hi. As far as I know, the RAM in iPhones is presoldered and as such is impossible to replace unless you are an AASP or possess very expensive repair tools. You might be able to get another motherboard off of eBay or similar, but you would probably be better off just getting a new iPhone.
I would suggest placing this in an ultrasonic cleaner in a solution of Bransons. If you do not have this available you might try calling some computer repair shops. This would be a much safer means of cleaning it. https://www.amazon.com/Branson-Electroni…
