My mp3 player will only play one channel unless I wiggle the plug around , find the sweet spot, and then hold it there. I have tried multiple head phones, patch cords, head units, and speakers that work fine with other sources, so the problem must be with the jack. Can it be replaced or repaired?
I have the same issue with the jack. When I opened the sansa clip, I saw that the plastic part inside the device is broken. You can fix it without change the broken part, but I’m not 100% cnfident that will be a permanent solution. Otherwise, it is just soldere on two points so you could change it :).
