the keyboard on my MacBook Pro a1706 broke due to water damage I was looking for a new top case to replace it and found out that the ones from US or UK are way easier to get than the ones with a German layout But I am not sure if it is possible to replace it or if the Mac will work fine with the different keyboard kind of like; are upper cases region locked?
Depends on the keyboard style. If it’s with the upside down“l” style Enter keyboard, then make sure yours is the same. If the enter key is a bar, then get the bar.
