My old ipod 6th gen battery is relatively small and underpowered, it cannot hold a charge for more than 30 minutes, and could I replace the weak 1000 Mah battery with a higher capacity third party one?
You can if the battery exists. I don’t think iPod touch is popular enough to have people make 3rd party battery for it.
