Help. My Sony suffered water damage and I turned it on before I noticed. I heard a low crackling noise from the box before I was able to turn it off. Slight smell of electrical burn. Can I fix it and if so what do I need to replace?
You can wait as long as possible for it to dry …….. a week , ? 3 days Then i would try plugging it in again BEING aware you might need to unplug it very quickly ,Don’t leave it un attended while plugged in……..but if you smelled electrical burn then you know , ITS probably a wrap for safety reasons might hit up Santa for a replacement…….SORRY
