Hi all, I have a new Macbook but also a 2012 Thunderbolt display. The Macbook only has a USB-C port and I was wondering if anyone has come across people replacing the Thunderbolt display’s Mini Display cable with a USB-C one. Is this even possible? Any Mini Display-to-USB-C adaptors were very quickly (and suspiciously…) discontinued shortly after they were released in 2015. Any advice or info would be much appreciated. Henry
Sadly, there is no means to connect a new MacBook which has a USB-C port to a Thunderbolt display presently. Hopefully by the end of next month we might be offered an answer from Apple ;-}
This is supposed to work, I have not tried it https://www.nonda.co/products/hub-mini-u…
