Hey guys! I’m trying to update Mac OS to Catalina on my mid 2010 iMac, but as I found out I can’t do it with Radeon HD 5670 I have. So I wonder if I can replace a video card, and install HD4850 (which should work fine with latest Mac OS) instead of current HD5670? Thank you!
Replacing your Radeon HD 5670 for a Radeon HD 4850 won’t help you running Catalina as its also not Metal compatible. You need an AMD Radeon HD 7xxx or better GPU. How about just running DosDude’s patcher macOS Catalina Patcher
