My fitbit charge 2 device loses battery charge almost instantly. Fitbit support offered discount on replacement as a couple of months beyond warranty period. Can the battery be replaced?
Hi, Here’s a link to a video that shows how to replace the battery in your watch. Unfortunately I cannot find a replacement battery online, but if you search online using the model number printed on the battery in your watch (can’t see it too well in the video) you may find suppliers.
There are kits online that you can purchase that will also come with the basic tools you would need to do the repair. It does look like there are just leads on the battery however so you would need to have knowledge of how to solder of know someone who does. I have never taken one of these apart so I’m not sure how much work would actually be involved.
