I’m gonna buy an iPad air 4th gen soon, but it has this bend on the back, here’s a pic:
Depends, can you replace the rear case?
Hi This looks like it can be fixed but you would need to put some work into it You would want to remove the screen and logicboard using these guides Here’s one for the screen https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VOMTY3XMAI… And one for the logicboard (this one is a teardown but it should give some hints) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=QE5EpS4fAw… The logic board part starts at around 3mins in Removing these components minimises the chances of something important breaking After that I recommend holding it with a cloth and carefully bending the case back I also recommend using some tesa tape to help secure the screen back on Here’s a link to that Tesa 61395 Tape If you need any help along the way please let me or someone else here know:-) Hopefully this helps Any questions please ask Thanks:-)
Remove the screen completely then bend it back to straight. Sorted. I did a iPad mini 5 in a far worse state than that. Waiting on screen to arrive to fix it. Remember to disconnect the battery before anything else and connect it last.
