Hi there, I have recently replaced the back housing and front panel assembly for my 3Gs iphone. The USB device is not recognized in windows, and the phone hangs on the boot screen, with an eternal spinning load sign. I cant do a hard reset, I figure this is because one of the button’s is not connected properly. Can I remove the 3 connectors and remove the screen while the phone is on, or do I have to wait til it goes flat?
You can just remove the 3 connectors, it doesn’t cause any harm. Also, have you checked to see if the dock connector is plugged in properly? No I haven’t. Ok, try checking that. Alright I’m trying now… Hey it worked. You are a legend. I know.
