Can I add the LiDAR sensor to this phone because I need the LiDAR for 3d scanning stuff for preservation.
Sadly, no. The 13 Pro has 3 camera lenses and the 13 only has 2, so no way to fit it into the housing without modification. Additionally the camera assembly from the 13 uses 1 cable (and connection to the board) and the 13 Pro uses 2. I suppose there may be a way to modify it to work, but it would require a lot of knowledge. So I would say it’s maybe possible, but realistically, it’s not practical. Cameras are also paired to the logic board starting with the 12 series and if I recall correctly swapping camera modules even within the same model caused the cameras to not work properly or at all.
