I am trying to add BT to my ipod video 30gb 5.5.gen. Who ever knows what am talking about i need your help please. Can i use the Bt part from an ipod touch 4gen? Can use BT part from arduino? Can u use the Bt part from iphone 6+or 5s? I have those ready to use? Any of these i want to try.? Yes their is a link of someone who did this.Thus i want to refine the mod by using the parts am refering? I would like to know how to solder them to the mother board and in order to connect To my Shure BT headphones? Thank you for yourhelp? Peter A
Can’t help with soldering but….Go onto eBay and type in ‘ipod classic Bluetooth’ They will have transmitters and adapters, little pieces that plug into the charging port, that will allow you to use your iPod with Bluetooth. It would be a lot easier than soldering a chip in. Hope this helps!
