Hey! So my HTC one m8 wont charge after a fall. It will show picture, but wont charge (i.e stuck on the same per cent) And its running very hot and when i use the phone in the same time, its just too hot to even touch it. And the led blinks orange. Now i think, is it possible, that the battery got damaged after the drop and now is acting wierd?
Mart Kask , Yes it could, battery or board shorting. The link below is to your device, to show how to dismantle so you can check/change the battery and board/charge port for connection issues/ damage/burnt/loose components/etc. Flashing orange light means the battery level reached very low or not communicating properly.
