Chosen Solution
This computer, p55w-c5200X, s/n ZF031585S, has 8gb of ddr3l ram, in two 4gb sticks. Can it be upgraded to 16gb by replacing both sticks with 8gb?
I did look it up, and you should be able to upgrade to 16 GB of memory. Just be sure that it is the same DDR3L with a speed of 1600MHz. Also 16 GB is going to be your maximum RAM upgrade. Source can be found here
