My iphone 6 camera wont take pictures I can open up the camera app and see that the camera is working but when i click to take a picture it does the normal picture taking animation but nothing is saved, its very weird because when i switch to video mode the camera can take a video and save it like normal, any ideas of whats wrong or what part i should replace thanks
in my situation , both camera were not work , after change camera ic U2301 , all thing go ok , but photo not saved , the fix was so simple and easy , just change your time zone then back it to auto set from time setting , and thats all , camera now saved photo normally .

I had this problem too but after rebooting my iPhone 7 twice the photos began saving again. Hope this helps
This doesn’t require replacing anything, because you said it takes videos. Have you done a hard reset? Hold power button and home button until phone restarts
I was told I need to have front and back camera replaced. When guy tested camera he said nothing wrong with cameras, what else can be the problem pls?

I have the same problem except I can’t take photos or vidoes. And I can’t delete and photos or videos either
Mine dose the same thing so u held the power button down and the home button but this did not work
